Kostas Pitsios LEVADIA 2013

The condition of architecture is to be applicative. Its utility is perceived to be to provide the infrastructure and instrumentation of dwelling in a broad sense, i.e., to satisfy a demand. Clients press for solutions and a certain pragmatism, sometimes inconvenient. They most often see architecture as just another service. In this context, we see that the most important knowledge attribute valued in the architectural 'market' is that of instrumentalization, and the most pressing factors are multidisciplinarity and multiculturality.

On the other hand, finding solutions in client satisfaction cannot be reduced to the application of a purely deductive recipe, but requires doses of creativity that vary with the level of challenge.

Breaking out of routine, detaching oneself from the problem, suspending prejudices, etc. have also provided opportunities to see that "something else" which escapes observation and becomes the key to the solution itself.

Solving a complexity means being attentive, sensitive to the initial conditions, or in other words entering the state of anamnesis. Then diagnosis... then decision... then treatment... whatever, you have satisfactions or regrets. In the case of this presentation, I think the ending is happy, considering the coadaptive tensions and pressures of the implant environment and the resulting "objects".

In a territory marked, in general, by its fractal dimension, the property of geometric entities conditional on integer dimension leads to an ordinary Euclidean geometry. This fact is important in practice (which the pictures show much better), because it allows the experimental objectification of the class of shapes and gives a long run in time.

In the present case, we can consider that we are dealing with a system with self-organized criticalizability; one can almost easily observe the cumulative conditions:

- the constitution of several neighboring parts;

- each component part can accumulate a stress up to a threshold above which it can yield it either to the environment or to the other component parts;

- the system has a "boundary" (limit) through which it can dissipate voltage to the environment.

It's all about finding the key or form by which one type of behavior is favored. Inevitably, any architect is also a behavioral regime programmer, and that is why many people would like to become architects as an extreme temptation.

Architect Kostas Pitsios has succeeded in both architecture and architectonics. He just read Aristotle, getting a synergy from the "Monelia" residence.
