The fifth edition of the DIPLOMA festival begins
Tomorrow, October 5, DIPLOMA 2018, a project initiated by The Institute and inspired by UniCredit Bank, starts. The festival takes place from October 5-14, at Casa Dacia (12 Dacia Boulevard), the former headquarters of the Romanian Literature Museum, and presents the works of the freshest artists, graduates of creative-vocational faculties of the 2018 class.
DIPLOMA is the largest event dedicated to the future generation of Romanian artists and creatives and aims to promote their creative universe to a wide audience. It also aims to encourage dialog between disciplines, universities, young graduates and established specialists, in order to make a real contribution to the development of the local artistic and creative environment.
The exhibition dedicated to Architecture, Visual Arts and Design features 126 works by young creatives from all over the country (full portfolios can be found here). The 10-day festival also includes conferences, parties, theater auditions and a musical. In addition, the large garden of the Dacia House will serve as a space for socializing and partying throughout the festival, from 10:00-22:00.
The works on display have been selected by a creative board of over 40 creative industry professionals from a total of over 350 entries. More details about the creative board members can be found here.
