How does a museum get started? MuzA opens the Rural Land Credit Palace and launches its first exhibition

08.06.2026

MuzA – the Museum of Architecture in Romania – will reopen to the public from June 11 to 14, 2026, and every weekend in June, at the Rural Land Credit Palace in Bucharest (22 Doamnei Street), an iconic building in the heart of the capital, and will launch its first exhibition there.

MuzA’s curatorial theme is Fantasy, a reflection on how we imagine, design, and inhabit the spaces around us. The Rural Land Credit Palace becomes the first subject of this theme and the setting for a discussion about what an architecture museum can mean today.

The program from June 11–14, 2026, includes: guided tours of the palace, public dialogues, workshops for children and teenagers, and artistic interventions. Admission is free, subject to availability.

The opening takes place on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
