The National Institute for the Study of the Holocaust in Romania "Elie Wiesel" announces the organization of the competition of solutions for the design of the permanent exhibition and related spaces of the National Museum of the History of the Jews and the Holocaust in Romania

In September 2016, by Government Decision no. 625/2016, the National Institute for the Study of the Holocaust in Romania "Elie Wiesel" was entrusted with the organization, coordination and establishment of the future museum.

The activity of the future institution will also have an important educational component, the central elements of which will be the protection of the memory of the victims of the Holocaust and the promotion of non-discrimination.

Location: The museum will be organized in the centre of Bucharest, in one of the emblematic areas of the city, Calea Victoriei, in the Banloc-Goodrich building, designed by the architect Octav Doicescu in the 1940s.
