ARCHY FEST- ARCHITECTURAL HYPOSTASES

The ARCHY FEST- ARCHITECTURAL HYPOSTASES project is realized by the University of Architecture and Urbanism "Ion Mincu", coordinated by the Faculty of Interior Architecture, project co-financed by the Bucharest City Hall through ARCUB within the Bucharest Home 2023* Program. The cultural project takes place against the backdrop of the 130th anniversary of the School of Architecture, the 20th anniversary of the Faculty of Interior Architecture, the 20th anniversary of the Product Design Department of UAUIM Bucharest and the World Architecture Day.

The project proposes to bring architecture to the streets, as well as to connect the professional community with the local public, consumers of architectural built space. Moreover, it is intended to be an interactive presentation of the architectural profession, giving Bucharest's citizens the opportunity to dialog with specialists in the field.

Specifically, there will be several exhibitions, installations, presentations, workshops, performances and creative activities, concentrated in a Festival of Architecture called ARCHY FEST that will take place from September 29 to October 1 on Edgar Quinet Street and on October 2 at UAUIM.

Thus, for three days, through the events organized within the Festival, we aim, on the one hand, to explain the architectural hypostases that form the field and strengthen the image of the architect, and on the other hand, to understand and experience architecture through the prism of the direct consumer: the inhabitant of Bucharest.
