The last edition of this year's Art and Design Market will take place on the weekend of 1-3 November 2024, an exhibition and commercial event now in its sixth edition and enjoying a surge in popularity in the cultural and artistic world in Bucharest and beyond.

This fall's event will take place in the Mezanin (Ion Brezoianu 23-25) and Primitiv Plants (Griviței 73-75) spaces, on the weekend of November 1-3, where the public will have the opportunity to meet and buy works and objects created by people and entities whose activities are associated with art and design.

"For the Art and Design Market in November we have prepared a selection of 38 entries, and our event will be held in two spaces, as we have accustomed our public to in recent times. From next year we are preparing other venues and collaborations, but we will communicate all these in due course. In the meantime, on the weekend of November 1-3, we'll meet you in the Mezanin and Primitiv Plants spaces to have fun and enjoy together one of, we believe, one of the most unique and eclectic editions so far. From the beginning, the public has been expecting to discover what's new and fresh in the creative areas at our event, but this time we think we will exceed all expectations: perfumes, toys, chess, textiles, sculpture and much, much more are just a few examples of our selection that we invite you to discover at the Art and Design Market. On top of that, in the Primitiv Plants space, everything will be like a day party, with music, DJs and entertainment," say the organizers of the Art and Design Market, Otilia Fiastru and Mihnea Mihalache-Fiastru.

The Art and Design Market is an event that brings together male and female visitors, creators who present their work to the public in a personal, direct and free way, with no entry fee and no admission for the public.

On the occasion of PAD 06, the public has the chance to buy works and support projects presented for the first time and exclusively by young, emerging creators, but also by people and entities established in art and design who propose, at each edition of the Art and Design Market, unique works and objects, different from those they have accustomed us to in their exhibition circuit.

"Even we cannot believe that we have reached the 6th edition of the Art and Design Market, for us it feels as if we are still at the beginning and we are still living with the same emotions and are in the same solidarity with the participating entities as we were then. We couldn't imagine our friendships in the long term any other way, and if we have taken some steps towards our maturation, they primarily mean that we rely on a circle of people in art and design with whom we will innovate and develop," the organizers add.

Otilia Fiastru is a jewelry designer and graphic-designer. In 2013 she founded the contemporary jewelry brand Oval, awarded with the MNAC Prize at the 2014 Contemporary Jewelry Fair Author 2014 and the Special Award for Designer Accessories at IFS 2016, London Fashion Week. In November 2023 she realized Oval's first solo show "The Way Out Is Through", a long-awaited exhibition and received with much enthusiasm by the cultural art world.

Mihnea Mihalache-Fiastru, artist working with image and text. He has created two web series between 2015 and 2016, collaborates with various publications, is the author of three volumes of documentary prose "The Technology of Universal Exposure" (2018), "Expres" (2019) and "Șpec" (2022). Mihnea Mihalache-Fiastru has published numerous prose texts and essays both locally and internationally and this year will release a volume of prose for all ages. He is working on several visual projects. She lives and works in Bucharest. At the Dezarticulat stand at the Art and Design Market 06, Dezarticulat will be launching her latest volume of prose for children and adults, "Their darlings have slanting eyes".
