N.R. There are voices in the public space questioning the appropriateness and usefulness of the sums collected according to Law 35/1994 on the literary, cinematographic, theatrical, musical, folkloric, fine arts, architectural and entertainment stamp, republished in 2008. We believe that the above list of projects says a lot about how the "Architecture Stamp" is being used to promote architectural creation, built and urban heritage, to research the work of architects who have contributed to the creation of this heritage representative of Romanian culture.
In addition to these cultural projects funded every year, the Romanian Union of Architects finances the National Biennale of Architecture, a national congress dedicated to the architectural and urban heritage, a social program, an editorial program, events and exhibitions promoting architectural creation and architects and, last but not least, co-finances Romania's participation in the Venice International Architecture Biennale.
