Omul Hut on the Bucegi Mountains Rooftop photo exhibition
Let me start by making a confession: I love the mountains!
This exhibition dedicated to the oldest hut and the highest peak in the Bucegi is, in fact, an invitation to hike. The photographs are grouped into four themes: history, surroundings, sunrises or sunsets and the mists of the summit of Vârpe Omul.
My photos are just open gates. When you reach the heights, in addition to the wonderful images, you will also feel the breeze, the warmth of the sun's rays, the strength of the thin air and the smell of the multicolored flowers, feelings that together give a certain mood that is difficult to express in words, let alone in simple images.
Direct confrontation with the mountain, as a sublime and extreme expression of nature, strengthens you, straightens your spine, lifts your gaze from the ground and forces you to look ever onwards, ever further, ever higher, beyond your own limits. And I must confess that a sunrise or sunset on Man is not to be forgotten!
An exciting excursion among photographs, old postcards and mountain landscapes of this area, the exhibition "Cabana Omul - On the roof of the Buceg" was open from February 18 to March 4, 2015 at the U.A.R. Center of Architectural Culture.
