On the weekend of June 8-9, 2024, the first edition of the PAD BUTIC pop-up event organized by the Art and Design Market will take place in the courtyard and space of Popa Tatu 68, at the address of the same name. The first edition of the Art and Design Butic Art and Design Market will have "Paper" as its theme and general character, and the event will be communicated as PAD BUTIC / HÂRTIE. The first edition of the Art and Design Market or mini-PAD pop-up brings together people and entities whose activities are associated with art and design and who work with paper. The PAD BUTIC / HÂRTIE will feature presences from the fields of publishing, publishing, illustration, print, print, object and more:

"We had expected the pop-ups to be smaller editions and require less action than the main Art and Design Market editions that our audience is already used to. However, we realized while working on the first PAD BUTIC / HÂRTIE that if we want to maintain and raise the standards of our events, we need to invest just as much on the curatorial and organizational side, even if the event will be held in one location. We guarantee attendance and outstanding works made with, of and on paper", promise organizers Otilia Fiastru and Mihnea Mihalache-Fiastru.

The Art and Design Market is a well-known event, a favorite of artists and artists, as well as people working in design in Bucharest and the country. PAD brings together male and female visitors, male and female creators who present their work to the public, personally, directly, freely, without intermediaries or third profit institutions, participation fees and no admission for the public.

On the occasion of the first edition of PAD BUTIC / HÂRTIE the public has the chance to buy works and support projects presented for the first time and exclusively by young generation creators and creators at the beginning of their career, as well as established individuals and entities in art and design who propose unique works and objects, different from those we are used to in their exhibition circuit.
