The tourist hotel "Delta" in Tulcea is located on the right bank of the Danube, on the city's waterfront, and has an accommodation capacity of 220 beds in 120 rooms (6 beds in 3 suites, 14 beds in single rooms, 200 beds in double rooms).
The hotel also has a restaurant with 160 seats, a brasserie with 80 seats, a day bar with 30 seats and a covered terrace with 260 seats.
There is also a hairdresser and hairdressing salon, a florist, as well as craft, newspaper and illustrated newsagents.
The accommodation space is oriented east-west, perpendicular to the seafront, with a ground floor, mezzanine and 6 accommodation levels.
The ground floor and the mezzanine, where the catering areas are located, extend to the east parallel to the Danube bank.
The hotel reception is located on the ground floor and connects the administration offices, the offices of the N.T.O. agency and the B.N.R.R.S.R. office.
The hotel lobby is partly on two levels, including the mezzanine, where the TV, breakfast and banquet rooms are located.
From this space the accommodation levels are accessed by a main staircase and two batteries of elevators.
On the north side of the lobby, overlooking the Danube, are the correspondence lounge and the day bar, with direct connections to the brasserie and restaurant.
The accommodations (6 levels with 20 rooms each) are arranged on both sides of a circulation corridor.
The chosen span for the hotel is 3.60 m, making 16.50m2 of rooms with either one or two beds. The total accommodation area is 1,980m2.
Each room has a bathroom consisting of a bath with shower, washbasin and toilet, with access from the vestibule, where there are clothes closets, coupled for two adjacent rooms.
Each level is served by an office linked to the kitchen by a small goods elevator.
All rooms on the main and side facades have compartmentalized loggias of concrete panels finished with stone dust.
The composition of the plan and the volumes of the building define the square in front of the hotel and constitute a major point in the panorama of the city's waterfront.
The architects aimed to offer tourists staying in the hotel the full rich panorama of the city and the Danube.
The interior finishes have a personal touch, both in the superior finishing materials (travertine plywood, marble plywood, marmoroc, palmetin veneer paneling and high quality washable wallpaper) and in the fine art works in the hotel lobby.
