The village of 10 Prăjini, located in the vicinity of the project, is an important point on the map for lovers of brass band music. The village's numerous brass bands of different ages and compositions have roamed the world, giving birth to lively, confident musicians ready to delight audiences with their vitality and passion for sound.
These authentic and uninhibited musicians have been coming for over 10 years to delight us and test how sound can embrace the different spaces of the manor house or its annex buildings.
From the beginning, we tried to build a musical program that would unite the village and the city, bringing chamber music concerts and brass band music; where we could, we provoked a jam session that would bring acoustic worlds as unexpected as possible, in the idea of the laboratory generated by the project, which has extensions including to the study of sound.
That's how, in the space of the forge, the wonderful music of hammers entered in dialog with experimental progressive rock or other unexpected sound experiences.
