Dacia cars - over half a century of Romanian mobility. Or have they?

When the American or the Swede didn't know what Romania stood for, you used to mention Nadia or Hagi. And after the classic "Aaaaaaaaaa..." the conversation was over. No foreigner had more information about our country. And if you told him that Dracula from Transylvania is in Romania, he was stuck, because he knew that Transylvania is a country, like in cartoons, with vampires and werewolves. But slowly, slowly, the real ambassadors of our country changed. Rather, they have multiplied. And now, in 2024, perhaps the most important and powerful one is the domestic automobile brand, Dacia.

The name Dacia is easy to understand. It was a simple patriotic choice in the 1960s, saying loud and clear that national pride on four wheels should bear the name of the region that once put the screws on Romanians and the world.
