GMC can best be characterized by a few confessions of faith, passages from a letter addressed to Marcel Iancu, the main promoter of functionalism in Romania, in which he sets out principles that he constantly applied in his architectural creation, and at the same time makes a public gesture of welcoming the new trend in Romanian architecture, a recognition of the merit of Marcel Iancu - a personality equivalent to the Romanian avant-garde movement: "Addressing this letter to you, I have the impression that I am talking to myself, that I am discussing and trying to control an opinion of my own, to analyze a tendency of my own, to seek the explanation of a sympathy. [...] you were the first in this country to turn the back on a tired and sterile mentality. In our chaotic city, of a Balkan and mediocre chaos, of a "little wickedness", as Tudor Arghezi says, your healthy houses appear as the healthy premises of a healthy future (...)" 3
