Every year, in the fall, we return to school... with joy, with expectations, with curiosity... what will be new? Every fall since 1973, we have returned to school, sometimes just for a visit, at the SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE. An enclave, a refuge, an exclusive select club, a second home at times... because in those years you came to school in the morning and left late in the evening or sometimes the next morning.

The WORKSHOP was like a family. You worked there, you did corrections, seminars, you dreamed of becoming an architect... What will it be like and what does the future hold? Training as an architect was like an apprenticeship... we learned from teachers and stole the craft from each other.

Now the school has changed a lot... in approach, curriculum area, method, dynamics and diversity.

I learned the trade with teachers - important names of Romanian architecture - Victor ASLAN, Constantin IOTZU, Ascanio DAMIAN, Cezar LĂZĂRESCU, Romeo BELEA, Mihail CAFFÉ, Ștefan MĂNCIULESCU... And from much younger Mac, Dorin, Dinu, Viorel, Zolly, Puiu, Carmen, Virgil, Nelu... but also from guests... the architects "from production" and of course the list is very, very long.
