"Back to the Future. Architect Ion Popa commemorative exhibition"
Knowledge of architecture, as part of national history and culture, is still very unclear, due to gaps in the archives, the destruction of the built heritage and the lack of a museum dedicated to architecture.
Romanian architects, with the exception of Ion Mincu, are relatively little known and their role in Romanian culture is not very well emphasized. As an expression of national identity, architecture - initially inspired by the French, then in search of originality - has moved with the times.
