"Everyone follows his journey - Marcel Iancu's architecture in Romania".

How was Thursday's conference on Marcel Iancu, you ask?
Well, the room was full and the speaker, Prof. Dr. Ana Maria Zahariade, held the audience's attention for two hours. You can get an impression by watching the video clip of the conference "Everyone follows his journey - Marcel Iancu's architecture in Romania".
"The presentation of Iancu's architecture in Romania, largely unpublished, revealed "a success story" - the avant-garde painter and bold "apostle" of modernism in Romania also proved to be a remarkable and prolific architect. I will try to look at both the author and his work from a more critical and, no doubt, more subjective perspective, trying to break away from the schematism of a glorifying narrative; in a way, I will try to humanize the "hero", looking for the restlessness of the painter of the Zürich Ball behind the prolific architect in Romania." - Prof. Dr. Ana Maria Zahariade
