The American School is organized to facilitate "discovery" and to fix it in children's memory. The main goal is transmission, often indirectly, through contamination: the process of intellectual effervescence that constitutes the major path to knowledge, accompanied by the values of collegiality, collaboration, competition, the driving force of the search for truth, the art of asking questions, the ability to listen, evaluate and discuss critically... and others, from the same pedagogical register.

All of these apply from the earliest years of school education.
