176 Calea Victoriei

In November 2006, a^video¹ was posted online showing the demolition of the building at 176 Calea Victoriei. The building was not individually designated as a historic monument, but it likely contained valuable elements, including a brick-vaulted cellar dating from an earlier period. Over time, the building had undergone a series of modifications, the last major one occurring in 1935, when the street-facing facade was cut through to align with the route of Calea Victoriei, a thoroughfare running between Dacia Blvd. Dacia and General Gheorghe Manu Street.
