Two kinds of bathrooms

Fumihiko Maki once gave a lecture here and I remember he began by telling us how, as a young architect, he was receiving commission after commission for schools and kindergartens. Time passed and for many years he had to design office buildings and public institutions. And the years went by again. At the announcement of the magazine's present theme - which I didn't know much about, but I liked it - my first thought turned to the story of Fumihiko Maki and I said to myself, here it is, it's everyone's turn. It would be good to read up on establishments, their architecture and arthritis, on sites, urbanism and ischemia. About boring resort stays.
