how architecture can become an act of culture again

At a time when science has become so widespread, is Michel Henry's anxiety that today's civilization, technical and mediatic par excellence, is annihilating its cultural values and compromising its existence, incapable of creation, justified?

This article theorizes that, in a quintessentially scientific age in which art is no longer the main engine of expression, we may (or may not) still be able to proliferate and put our cultural stamp on the life we live.

In nowadays conditions where science has such increased imporantance Michel Henry's concern is motivated: the actual civilization drive foremost by technic and media, denies cultural values and compromises its existence, being unable to create.

The article addresses theories according to whom, in an era dominated by science, where art ceased to be the main expressive engine, we may (or not) be able to grow and to culturally endorse our life.
