1983 - Final and from the end

1983 is the year in which the architecture departments in Timișoara, Cluj and Iași are disbanded. Some of the former teachers can be found in exhibitions in Timișoara, others of the school's three-year graduates can be found as part of a study group winning a second prize in a competition in Japan. That same year meant for the architects from Timișoara, graduates of the Section and also of the "Ion Mincu" Institute, the opportunity to assert a firm position in favor of heritage protection and regeneration at a time when things were going exactly the opposite way in Romania.
