Dear colleagues, students and teachers,

We are celebrating right now a special moment in the life of each class of Architecture students. It is a change of state. Young students are graduates. Graduates become architects. I don't know if you think of this transformation as a moment or a process. I remember it as a necessary homecoming. Why home? Because wherever you continue on, you become part of the community in which you will be architects and work for, trying to make the framework of life better.

You are a special, memorable promotion! Do you know why? Because this year we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of higher architectural education in Cluj-Napoca. Promotion 50! We hope you will not only be memorable, but remarkable! We hope you will become, like many others before you, important messengers of this faculty and university. As messengers, we hope that you will translate into all your projects the core values that our faculty's academic community has passed on to you during your years of study.
