1990 - Re-establishment. 1996 - Reconfirmation

In the early days of January 1990, a new initiative was launched to lay the first bricks for what was to follow: the founding of the Timișoara AAT Architects' Association and then, in September, the revival of our School of Architecture, as a Department, then as a six-year Faculty, the fruit of the efforts of Cristian Dumitrescu, assisted by Nicolae Dancu, Smaranda Bica, Teodor Gheorghiu and Radu Radoslav.

Then, in January, the founding manifesto of the association and of a future publication, "ASIMETRIA", was drafted, strongly influenced by theoretical concerns in the direction of Rudolf Steiner's anthroposophical thought (fig. 30). At the meeting in Bucharest in mid-January 1990, where about 1,000 architects from all over the country gathered, that document was launched, published in a few dozen copies in the form of a poster, which aroused and inspired colleagues in the country, including those who not long afterwards generated the magazine "Arhitext". The longer term consequence was that for a decade our organization AAT, a branch of the UAR, was very active, and in mid-2001 the magazine DE ARHITECTURA, initiated and directed until today by Adrian Ionașiu, was published.
