Ten years after its re-establishment, a number of factors have changed the physiognomy and scope of the school. The increase in the number of students, the crystallization of the curriculum by segmenting the disciplines, the clarification of certain positions within the mosaic of research directions, the need to increase the teaching staff have allowed the school to become a faculty, first of Construction and Architecture, and finally of Architecture and Urbanism. Compared to the 1990s, when two distinct ideologies were in a state of equilibrium that Ana Maria Zahariade's text in the 1996 catalog attempts to define, this time it is a question of more precise delineation of clear directions, oriented towards urban planning, heritage issues and technical disciplines. In addition, the "old" avant-garde freshness of the school dissipates between the workshop studies of the 116th year, the exercises in the study of form, the courses in Architectural Theory coordinated with the design workshop of the first years, the course in Poetics and Anthropology of Space18 or the course in Trends in Contemporary Architecture and Special Structures, in the 619th year.
