Bucharest Architecture Annual 2011 - Interior Design Section: PV_BV - Justin Baroncea, Radu Enescu, Mihai Buruntia
On a pedestrian area located between the Tâmpa and the old enclosure wall, we propose benches with a double orientation: towards the hill and towards the medieval fortifications.
The benches are composed of 37.5 cm modules. The size is the result of optimizing the sheet of 8 mm thick sheet metal. Sheet dimensions: 300x150 cm.
We present a prototype of four modules. The clamping systems are located below the ironing level.
The height difference for the double-oriented saddles adapts to the slope of the terrain in the area.
