The chosen area was the USAMV Horticultural Research Station. The initial site was located adjacent to the intersection of Constantin Brâncuși Street and Borhanci Street, but it was suggested to orient the site to the north of the station, at one of the existing entrances, opposite the Băișoara Parking. The site has numerous connections to key areas of the city and to related faculty sites via the existing multiple public transportation lines. The height regime is relatively varied in the study area, and the main functions found are housing and education, research.
