The history of the Kretzulescu building is deeply rooted in its origins, originally known as the "Eforiei Kretzulescu Palace". The term "eforie" refers to its original function as the administrative foundation of the Church. Nowadays, the use of the building as the seat of a foundation is a form of homage to this historical legacy. By preserving its role in community service and administration, the Kretzulescu building continues to celebrate a meaningful past and actively contributes to the dynamics of the present.
