This project is motivated by the need to rethink treatment and relaxation spaces not only as medical infrastructure, but as experiences rooted in context, memory and landscape. He aims for a center that capitalizes on the site's natural and historical resources while creating a space for healing and a chance to preserve the salt heritage present here. Salina Cacica was opened by the Polish community in 1791, established here by the Habsburg administration. Groups of miners from southern Poland were brought in to extract the newly discovered salt deposits.
