The project aims to rehabilitate a fragment of the urban fabric of Bucharest. This area occupies a place in the collective memory and stands out as an archetype of inter-war leisure spaces, given the fact that, since the first organization of the plot in 1928, it has preserved its original purpose - that of a public swimming pool. The first proposal, by Marcel Iancu, a leading figure of Romanian modernism, envisioned a large enclosure organized around the complex's leitmotiv: the swimming pool.
