The Danube-Bucharest Canal remains one of the most powerful projections of interrupted modernity. Designed to link the city with the river, it never fulfilled its purpose. Today its fragments are silent witnesses to an unfinished ambition, but also latent resources for the future.

In my project, the canal is not just abandoned infrastructure, but becomes a framework for reconversion and imagination, a territory where industrial memory meets nature, and unfinished potential finds new life through architecture and ecotourism.
