Section 15 - The genesis of conviction in an empathic design process

I must admit that I had no expectations whatsoever when I chose to apply to the National Biennale of Architecture. I signed up with the natural excitement of a student who knows how much work, doubt and excitement goes into a project and who hopes, if only for a moment, that it will all be seen. From project submission to the award ceremony, the experience was an intense mix of anticipation, curiosity and surprise.

The news that architecture students can be recognized and rewarded in this context was particularly meaningful to me, because behind every project are not just drawings and concepts, but sleepless nights, never-ending discussions and those fragile "I have an idea" moments that keep us afloat.
