In the current context marked by climate, social and identity crises, the project proposes an ALTERNATIVE vision of urban industrial heritage - not as a relic, but as an active resource in the regeneration of the city.

The intervention aims at the conversion of the former Bourul/Dâmbovița Tannery, a complex site, representative of the evolution of industrial architecture in Bucharest, with historical layers from the pre-war (first attestation - 1877), inter-war and socialist periods. Today, this urban site is partially abandoned, but with a major potential for reintegration into the life of the city.
