Located in the center of Micăsasa commune, Sibiu county, the project is developed in the immediate vicinity of the historical Radák-Brukenthal ensemble, valorizing the relationship with the built context and the memory of the place.

The diploma project - Socio-medical residential center for the elderly proposes a coherent synthesis of several building typologies adapted to the chosen program, bringing together: linear structure - corridor - spine, radial structure - collective spaces - square, closed structure - inner courtyard - garden-room, pavilion structure - household. The closed structure plays an essential role in integrating the architecture into the existing context, but also in creating a sense of privacy, security and belonging. The building is
